What is Staging?
Staging is having a vacant home furnished to give that prospective buyer that "homey" or "lived in" feel. Staging also allows for purchasers to have an idea where there furniture could be placed in a new home. It takes a vacant home from average to "wow" when realtors open the door for their clients.

How effective is Staging?
Staging undoubtedly helps homes sell faster. A home that was on the market sitting vacant for 4 months was then staged by Designer Junkies. After a week to get it prepped and staged it had a offer the following week and sold for an incredible dollar. The home owner sent Designer Junkies this testimonial - "this company gave my house that "wow" factor it needed to sell. Not only did it look fabulous, it had a warm feeling to it. Sincerely, B.Hine. On average staged homes sell in less than half the time it would take for a vacant home to sell.

How long does it take?

Does the seller need to sign a contract?
Yes, when they have given Designer Junkies the go ahead to proceed with staging there is a 1 month contractual obligation. What does this mean? It includes the cost of set-up and design as well as the rental of furniture for the first month and is non-negotiable. After the first month, rental is based on a 28 day month time period. When the home is deemed "sold" rental of furniture will be pro-rated from a daily basis schedule.
